(ORAL) Through this criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for release of detenues as mentioned in para 2 of the petition from the illegal and unlawful custody of respondents 4 and 5, by appointing a warrant officer.

Heard.

The petitioner has not explained as to why he did not exhaust his remedy available under Section 97 Cr.P.C., at the local level. Directly approaching this Court by him, seems to be a colourable and mala fide exercise adopted.

Dismissed.
