***** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case, FIR No.332 dated 25.11.2018, registered under Sections 419, 420, 365, 384, 389 and 120-B IPC, Police Station Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar.

According to the prosecution, in the night of 20.11.2018, petitioner along with his accomplice kidnapped the complainant from his medical shop propagating themselves to be the members of Special Task Force in a Swift car and demanded a ransom of `5 lacs in lieu of his release. One of the co-accused namely Karambir Singh talked with the wife of the complainant, who by paying `1 lac, got freed her husband.

CRM-M-6659 of 2019 --2-- FIR, which was lodged after 5 days' delay. He has falsely been implicated in the instant case. According to the prosecution, Karambir Singh is the main accused, who was identified by the complainant. The petitioner is working as driver with Immigration Company and is a poor person.

Considering the seriousness of crime of kidnapping and robbery, petitioner does not deserve any concession of anticipatory bail, inasmuch as, his custodial interrogation is required. Dismissed.
