Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have paid an amount of Rs.30,000/- to the complainant by way of Google Pay.

Learned counsel for the complainant states that she has instructions to state that the aforesaid payment has been received by the complainant.

Learned counsel for the petitioners also submits that when the earlier draft of Rs.30,000/- was deposited in the Registry, the validity of the same expired because of the expiry of date but the same is laying with the Registry and it may be directed to release because the aforesaid amount is yet to be got back from the bank.

In view of the above, the Registry is directed to return back the expired draft of Rs.30,000/- deposited in the Registry forthwith especially in view of the fact that now amount of Rs.30,000/- has already been stand paid by the petitioners through Google Pay.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Kulwinder Singh states that the petitioners are the parents-in-law of the complainant and in pursuance of the orders passed by this Court on 26.02.2024, they have already joined investigation and they are fully cooperating with the investigation process and they are not required for custodial interrogation. 6.

In view of above facts and circumstances and specific stand taken by the learned State counsel, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 26.02.2024 is hereby made absolute.
