(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that FIR No. 40, dated 28.2.2020, Police Station Cheeka, District Kaithal, under Sections 406 and 420 IPC was lodged at his instance and that earlier when he had approached this Court by way of filing CRM-M-28624-2020, following order was passed on 18.9.2020 (Annexure P-2): "In pursuance of the advance copy of the petition having been supplied to the respondents, Mr. Ranvir Singh Arya, Addl.AG, Haryana has put in appearance on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that the cancellation report in respect of the FIR in question, has already been prepared but due to the restricted functioning of the Courts in the wake of Pandemic COVID-19, the same could not be presented before the Court."

- 2 - CRM-M-9494-2021 (O&M) Learned counsel has submitted that despite a period of more than 5 months having elapsed, the investigating agency till date has not presented any report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while noticing order dated 18.9.2020 (Annexure P-2), the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No. 3-The Senior Superintendent of Police, District Kaithal to ensure that the representation dated 21.2.2021 (Annexure P-3) is disposed of expeditiously in accordance with law. A copy of this order be sent to The Senior Superintendent of Police, District Kaithal (respondent No.3) so as to enable him to do the needful at the earliest.
