(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to absorb the petitioner to a post in commensurate to her educational qualification as per Government instructions dated 10.01.1992 (Annexure P-3) w.e.f. 01.10.1992 instead of 01.05.1998.

No one appeared on behalf of the petitioner and respondent No.2 on the last date of hearing, therefore, notice was ordered to be issued to petitioner and respondent No.2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from respondent No.2, submits that the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.09.2015 as Private Secretary. With the efflux of time, the relief claimed in the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
