(Oral) The instant petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 586, dated 29.11.2019, under Sections 376(2)(n) and 34 r/w 506 of IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station DLF Phase-III, Gurugram, Haryana. Prima facie, there are serious and specific allegations levelled against the petitioner in the FIR in question of continuously violating the person of the prosecutrix on the pretext of marriage and thereafter, leaving her in a lurch and in addition to extending threats of dire consequences. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to extend the concession of regular bail to the petitioner.

Petition stands dismissed.

However, anything observed hereinabove shall not be construed to be an expression of opinion on the merits of the case.
