By this common order, CWP No. 13614 of 1999 and CWP No. 12314 of 2002 are hereby adjudicated as common questions of law and fact are involved.

The petitioners are claiming that respondents by impugned orders have wrongly changed their date of confirmation as Assistant Sub Inspector. On account of change of date of confirmation as Assistant Sub PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2025.02.17 05:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No. 13614 of 1999 (O&M) -2Inspector, Iqbal Kaur (respondent No. 4 in CWP- 12314 of 2002) got further promotion as Sub Inspector prior to them, which affected their future prospects.

Mr. Raman Sharma, Addl. A.G., Haryana submits that Roshni Devi was promoted as Sub Inspector on 31.08.1992 and Surinder Kaur as well as Iqbal Kaur were promoted as Sub Inspector on 13.08.1992. Surinder Kaur retired as Inspector on 31.03.2016 and Iqbal Kaur retired prior to said date. Roshni Devi retired as Deputy Superintendent of Police on 31.03.2019.

Counsel for the petitioner expressed his inability to controvert the aforesaid factual position. The petitioners as well as Iqbal Kaur have already retired and they got further promotions during their service tenure. At this stage, no further order is warranted. 5.
Petitions stand disposed of.
