Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Police, District Karnal to look into the matter and to ensure that the matter pertaining to FIR No.1017, dated 17.12.2023 registered at Police Station Assandh, District Karnal under Section 306 of Indian Penal Code, is got investigated fairly and expeditiously in accordance with law, so that a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is submitted thereafter at the earliest. 2.

Needless to mention, the Investigating Officer shall take into account the reports of FSL, viscera etc. while finalizing the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C.
