Learned State counsel has apprised the Court that during the course of trial out of 58 witnesses cited by the prosecution, 27 witnesses have already been examined.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner has sought withdrawal of the present petition at this stage with liberty to file the same afresh, if so required in future. He has further requested that considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 15.12.2020, the learned trial Court may be asked to dispose of the trial in an expeditious manner. 3.

Keeping in view the custody period of the petitioner and in the interest of justice, the learned trial Court is requested to consider expeditious disposal of the trial.

Furthermore, in the peculiar circumstances of the case, the Superintendent of Police, Rohtak is also directed to ensure the presence of the SANDAL SHARMA 2024.03.12 15:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
