Mr. Bikramjit Singh Patwalia, Advocate for the petitioner Along with Mr. Suresh Kumar, Senior Assistant. * * * * In response to the notice to the petitioner, Mr. Suresh Kumar, Senior Assistant has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner and submits that the respondent-workman has not contacted the petitioner during the last more than 20 years. It is further stated that even after the award, the petitioner was asked to join services, but he did not turn up. Whereabouts of the respondent-workman could not be known to the petitioner. In the circumstances, it is submitted that the writ petition be consigned to record, but liberty may, however, be granted to get it revived, if need be.
