(ORAL) Pursuant to order dated 01.06.2022, petitioner had appeared before the Medical Board consisting of Professor, Department of Forensic Medicine and Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh for measurement of height. As per the report of the Medical Board dated 21.06.2022, height of the petitioner measured by using two different stadiometers came to 167.8 cm, which is less than requisite height of 168 cm for the post of Male Constable under BCA category. Report of the Medical Board, GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh dated 21.06.2022 is taken on record. In view of the aforesaid fact, the instant petition stands dismissed. The amount of Rs.50,000/- deposited with the Registrar of this Court is ordered to be remitted to the Poor Patients Welfare Fund, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh against valid receipt.
