(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for issuance of direction to respondent No.4 not to conduct re-inquiry/multiple inquiries on the complaint filed by respondent No.5 contrary to the standing instructions issued by respondent No.7 i.e. Director General of Police, Punjab as well as to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.4-Superintendent of Police City, SAS Nagar, Mohali, is directed to look into the matter, in a time-bound manner.
