The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to re-issue him passport.

Mr. Shivendra Pal, Central Government Counsel submits that petitioner in his application has not disclosed particulars of FIRs registered against him. The passport authority has come to know status of FIRs during police verification. In the absence of correct and true disclosure of pending cases by petitioner, he cannot be issued passport. There is suppression of facts on the part of petitioner, thus, the application filed by petitioner in the present form cannot be processed.
