           0         %&  ' This Court after considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners, issued notice of motion vide order dated 15.02.2024 and accordingly, Commissioner of Police, Amritsar was directed to produce petitioner No.1-Akansha @ Anshu (minor) aged 161⁄2 years along with respondents No.4 to 7 in Court on the next date of hearing. Subsequent thereto on 19.02.2024, the Bar Association of Punjab and Haryana High Court was abstaining from work and accordingly, the hearing of the case was deferred to 27.02.2024.

 Surinder Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central Amritsar but the report did not inspire the confidence of this Court and accordingly, further asked the State to take steps to trace the minor girl who otherwise failed in its efforts despite pointing out by respondents No.4 to 7 that petitioner No.2Gourav Singh was using his Instagram account and was seen active thereupon on social site but the police shown ignorance to all these facts. Today, learned counsel for the petitioners informs the Court that petitioner No.2 namely, Gourav Singh already stands arrested by the police in FIR No.18 dated 11.02.2024 under Sections 363 and 366 of IPC and subsequently, Section 6 of the POCSO Act added after recording the statement of petitioner No.1 under Section 164 Cr.P.C. on 29.02.2024. In the light of the aforesaid developments having taken place during the pendency of the writ petition, Mr. Vipul Aggarwal, learned counsel for the petitioner prays
