The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.245 dated 9.7.2018 registered for the offences under Section 379-B IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Kania, District Mahendergarh. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

As per the FIR, five-six people riding on two motorcycles tried to snatch bag from the complainant by putting motorcycles in front of his motorcycle. The bag was containing an amount of `12 Lakhs and some cheques etc. On not giving the bag, they tried to snatch the bag and then by pointing revolver on the neck of the Clerk of the complainant, they snatched the bag and ran away.

Cr. Misc. No.M-6709 of 2019 [2] by the co-accused. He is required for custodial interrogation. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, nature and gravity of the offences and the fact that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where the petitioner is entitled for the grant of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
