In this Writ Petition, petitioners have challenged the circular dt.27.06.2022, whereunder there is increase in the quota for promotion from Additional Assistant Engineer to Assistant Engineer (Electrical) who are ITI/Diploma Engineers under Regulation Service Engineer (Electrical), 1965 Regulation 10.1 to 35%, and they also seek increase in the percentage of promotional quota from the post of Additional Assistant Engineer to Assistant Engineer (Electrical) from 14% as per Regulation 10.7 for degree holders.

Petitioners claim to have given Annexure P-8 Representation to the Chairman of respondent-Corporation on 23.10.2022 expressing their grievance against the said Circular.
