(ORAL) In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner, at the hands of respondent No. 4, who inspite of being an accused in case FIR No. 90 dated 11.10.2017 (Annexure P-1), under Sections 323, 324, 341 and 379 read with Section 34 IPC, Police Station Kotwali Nabha, District Patiala and complaint (Annexure P-6) lodged at the instance of petitioner is openly threatening/criminally intimidating the petitioner that too after backing out of the complaint and specific statement admitting the compromise recorded before the Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose of instant petition would be achieved, if, respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, is directed to decide representation dated 23.10.2018 (Annexure P-6), moved by the petitioner. In view of the above, respondent No. 3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, is directed to look into the matter and, if, required, do the needful, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
