NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The contempt is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 31.08.2018 directing the respondents to pass a fresh order after going through the service record of the petitioner and pass appropriate order granting him benefit of continuity of service by counting the break with all consequential benefit except giving him monetary benefit for that period for which he has not worked.
Reply filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. As per the said reply, the order has been complied with and appropriate order dated 22.03.2019 in terms of the order dated 31.08.2018 has been passed. In view of the above, the contempt petition is dismissed. Rule issued against the respondent stands discharged. However, in case any discrepancy is found or the consequential benefits are not released within six weeks from today, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the contempt petition.
