(Oral) This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 and 2 to renew the passport of the petitioner against the application bearing No. CH2078176092623. 2.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh application for issuance of his passport. 3.
In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.

It goes without saying that if any such application is submitted by the petitioner, the same be considered in accordance with law 5.
