*** As per report received from the Mediation Centre, the parties have amicably settled the dispute. The settlement agreement has been forwarded to this Court. In terms of the said settlement, both the parties have agreed to file a petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act on or before the month of September, 2019 in the Court of competent jurisdiction at Mohali. The other terms and conditions agreed upon between the parties are incorporated in the settlement agreement.
Under the circumstances, the application is dismissed as compromised, however, it is observed that in case the respondent fails to withdraw the divorce petition in question from the trial Court and violates the conditions agreed upon between the parties in that regard then the applicant shall be at liberty to approach this Court again craving for similar relief.
