(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.244, dated 26.05.2018 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Manimajra, Chandigarh, under Sections 279, 337, 338 IPC and Section 3/181 and 185 of Motor Vehicle Act on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2). Pursuant to order dated 16.02.2023, report dated 03.03.2023 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Chandigarh, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, without any coercion or undue influence. In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.244, dated 26.05.

2018 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Manimajra, Chandigarh, under Sections 279, 337, 338 IPC and Section 3/181 and 185 of Motor Vehicle Act along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
