Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already served a Legal Notice dated @//   &A+* to the competent authority respondent No.2 for redressal of their grievances, but no action has been taken thereon till date. He further submits that the petitioners would be satisfied, if the respondent authorities are directed to deal with their concerns/grievances and pass appropriate order on the said Legal Notice. Served with the advance copy of the petition, Mr. Rohit Ahuja, DAG Punjab appears on behalf of respondents and submits that the said Legal Notice shall be considered and decided by the competent authority, in accordance with law.

Without commenting on merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 (competent authority) i.e. SubDivisional Magistrate, District Mohali, Punjab to consider pending legal notice dated 18.09.2024 (Annexure P-10) of the petitioners and pass an appropriate reasoned order thereon, in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order. 5.
