(ORAL) Present petition has been filed seeking production and release of detenue, namely, Parvinder Kaur Cheema daughter of Nishan Singh Cheema, resident of Bichpari Chowk, Barsat Road, Sector 13-17, Panipat, Haryana, who according to the petitioner, is in wrongful confinement of her brother, namely, Gurbaj Singh Cheema (respondent No.4).

This petition has been filed on the ground that petitioner has an emotional attachment with the alleged detenue and according to him, the said detenue is being kept against her will by respondent No.4. Mr. Gurjot Singh Sadhrao, Advocate has put in appearance for respondents No.4 and 5 as well as alleged detenue, namely, Parvinder Kaur Cheema.

CRWP-1969-2021 -2Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents No.4 and 5 as well as alleged detenue submits that the averments made in the present petition are totally false and incorrect and have been made with an ulterior motive.

Learned counsel for respondents No.4 and 5, who is also appearing on behalf of alleged detenue, further submits that Parvinder Kaur Cheema is living a happily married life along with her child in her matrimonial home and is not in the custody of respondents No.4 and 5, as being alleged in the present petition.

Keeping in view the fact that the alleged detenue is being representing by a counsel, who has made a statement that she is not detained by respondents No.4 and 5 and is living in her matrimonial home happily, no further order is required to be passed in this petition and the petition is accordingly disposed of.
