***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL , J . (Oral) Instant petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.0077, dated 18.06.2019, Police Station Division-E, District Amritsar, under Sections 435, 427, 34 IPC on the grounds that the matter has been compromised amongst the parties.

This Court while issuing notice of motion on 17.02.2020 had directed the parties to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate so as to get their statements recorded qua the factum of compromise. However, when the matter was taken up again on 05.09.2022, this Court while noticing that the statements had not been recorded further granted time to the parties to get the same done and the matter was adjourned for about MOHAN SINGH 2024.09.18 17:53 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh

CRM-M-6911-2020 (O&M) - 2 - 4 months. When the matter was again taken up on 25.01.2023 the statements had yet not been got recorded. This Court further granted opportunity to the parties to get the statements recorded.

As per letter dated 16.03.2023 received from learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amritsar, the parties did not appear for getting their statements recorded.

Today, none has appeared today on behalf of the petitioners. It appears that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the instant petition.
