In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner has been selected and appointed on the post of Heavy Vehicle Driver in pursuance to the advertisement No. 4/2017 dated 18.05.2017 (Annexure P-1) but, the petitioner has not been allowed to join on the post in question and that too without any valid justification. 2.

Upon notice of motion, the reply has been filed by the respondents wherein they have stated that the petitioner was only issued the driving license to drive the heavy vehicle on 11.08.2014 (Annexure P-7) and as per the advertisement, upto the last date of submission of the application form i.e. 24.06.2017, a candidate should have three years experience of driving the heavy vehicle to compete for the post in question, hence the petitioner does not fulfill the requisite criteria and he was declared ineligible to compete for the post in question. 3.

No replication has been filed by the petitioner to the reply filed by the respondents.
