Petitioners have filed this writ petition under Article 226 Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to protect their life and liberty from respondent Nos.5 and 6, who are against their marriage.

On 01.03.2021, learned State counsel sought time to verify the existence of alleged threat.

Learned State counsel has produced the copies of the statements of petitioners dated 10.3.2021, wherein they have expressed that they do not apprehend any danger. Statements of respondents have also been recorded, wherein, they have stated that they have no objection to the marriage of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners does not dispute this fact and submits that in view of the statement of the petitioners, the present petition has been rendered infructuous.

Dismissed as infructuous.
