This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to comply with the provisions of Section 160 CrPC by giving notice in advance in case the presence of the petitioner is required.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner, who is a 60 year old lady, is being unnecessarily harassed by respondent No.3 time and again. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Rehat Bir Singh Maan, DAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 to 3-State. He, on instructions from ASI Balwinder Singh, has stated that the petitioner was required to be questioned in connection with FIR lodged under the NDPS Act, 1985.
