Today physical hearing was held but on request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter is taken up by way of hybrid hearing.

This petition is filed for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 405 dated 10th December, 2019, under Section 61(1) of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, registered at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar.

This Court vide order dated 14th February, 2020 granted interim bail to the petitioner subject to joining investigation. Learned State Counsel, on instructions from ASI Jai Gopal submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is co-operating.

As no custodial interrogation is needed, the interim bail granted on 14th February, 2020 is made absolute. Disposed of accordingly.
