Limited prayer in the instant writ petition is qua inordinate delay in disposal of pending appeal (Annexure P-10) before respondent No.2/ Commissioner (Sales)-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Karnal, wherein the petitioner has impugned an order dated 29.08.2014(Annexure P-7) passed by Naib Tehsildar under the provisions of Administration of Evacuee Property Act, 1950, dismissing the application of the petitioner for grant of certificate under Section 16 thereof.

Perusal of the record reveals that after passing of the impugned order by Naib Tehsildar, appeal qua the same was filed by the petitioner before respondent No.2 on or about 06.07.2015 and the same is pending ever since.

In the premise, without commenting on the merits of the case, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Appellate Authority/ respondent No.2 to dispose of the pending appeal, as expeditiously as possible,but not later than 6 months from the date of receipt of web print of this order.
