(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.5 and 6. Learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to invoke alternative appropriate remedy on the same cause of action in accordance with law for redressal of grievances raised in the present petition.
