NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned order dated 04.08.2000 (Annexure P-30), order dated 25.04.1995 (Annexure P-10), order dated 27.04.1997 (Annexure P-14). Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing respondent No.3 to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of District Manager on the basis of his seniority-cum-merit. Further prayer has been made to direct respondent No.3 to adjudicate the appeal filed by the petitioner against the punitive order dated 25.03.1994 and also to finalize the seniority list after considering the objections dated 25.11.1991 (Annexure P-4) and MOHD YAKUB 2024.10.04 12:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CWP No.15106 of 2000 (O&M) reminders dated 21.12.1999 (Annexure P-5). Lastly, it is prayed that the petitioner be given consequential benefits of seniority and monetary benefits from the date of his entitlement.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite his best efforts and writing a registered letter to the petitioner, he has not been able to get instructions from the petitioner. In this view of the matter, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
