Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the arrears of salary to the petitioners after completion of 2 years probation period treating their date of joining as 21.04.2017.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioners submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his clients would be satisfied in case the legal notice dated 25.08.2021 (P-6) is decided expeditiously.
