The petition has been filed to challenge show cause notice dated 30.12.1996, regarding re-fixation of petitioner's pay with effect from 1.5.1989 enforcing recovery of Rs.14,872/- on account of alleged wrong fixation of pay. No interim relief was granted to the petitioner by this Court regarding the impugned notice.

Despite notices having been sent, there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that with efflux of time, the petition has been rendered infructuous.

Disposed of as such.
