(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari to set aside the order dated 13.12.2023 (Annexure P-6) and for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to release the petitioner as the petitioner has completed his actual sentence of 14 years and with remission 20 years of sentence as per policy dated 13.08.2008 (Annexure P-3).

After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to grant any relief, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition.

Permitted to do so.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
