******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) As per report of the Mediator, the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement the respondent has to pay an amount of `1 lakh to the appellant.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that he has brought a post dated cheque of `1 lakh in the name of appellant-Chamkaur Singh but he is not present. He further submits that signed pronote and receipt which were taken by the appellant as security are in his possession which he has to return.

The Mediator along with his report has attached signed compromise between the parties, which is taken on record as Annexure CS. As per the compromise, the cheque be sent to the appellant through registered post or handed over to him against the receipt. This petition stands disposed of in above terms.
