In the present petition, the challenge of the petitioner is to the action of the respondent-Commission in not evaluating the candidature of the petitioner in the manner required for, as he was not given marks under the Socio-Economic Criteria.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no reply has been filed by the respondents so far despite the fact that more than 04 years have already elapsed and the pendency of the present petition is causing prejudice to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has already raised the said grievance in the representation dated 10.12.2018 (Annexure P-5) but the same is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner. 4.

Learned counsel for respondents-State submits that in case, the representation dated 10.12.2018 (Annexure P-5) has been received in the RIYA 2023.12.12 13:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 6.
