(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to conduct a fair and impartial investigation to respondents in FIR No.134 dated 04.05.2021 registered with P.S. Jandiala, District Amritsar under Sections 452, 323, 324, 148 and 149 IPC.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforementioned FIR was registered way back in May 2021 and since then the investigation has not concluded as no final investigation report has been filed by Investigating Agency. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has even submitted representation/legal notice dated 18.01.2023, no decision thereupon has been made as yet. Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. D.A.G. Punjab who is present in Court accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1-5 and on instructions from ASI Rajkumar submits that the investigation in the aforementioned FIR is going on which is likely to be concluded in near future. CRM-M-8238-2023 -2Without commenting upon merits of the petition, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to conclude the investigation within a period of 10 weeks from today and final report under Section 173 of CrPC be submitted before the Illaqa Magistrate immediately thereafter.
