* * * * Learned counsel for the parties are agreed that the order Annexure P-6 passed by the Additional Labour Commissioner, Punjab be set aside and the matter be remitted to him to reconsider and decide the application filed by the workman afresh after notice to Punjabi University, Patiala. Parties through their counsel are directed to appear before the Labour Commissioner/Additional Labour Commissioner, Punjab for further proceedings on 11.01.2017. In view of the agreed stand of the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of.

It is hoped and expected that the Labour Commissioner shall dispose of the matter in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. A copy of this order be given to the learned counsel for the parties.
