Amar Nath v. State Of Hy.
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CWP No. 15430 of 2000 Date of decision: 24.08.2017 Amar Nath ....Petitioner(s)
Versus
State of Haryana and others
...Respondent(s)
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE G.S.SANDHAWALIA
Present:
Mr. Namit Kumar, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Ms. Shruti Jain Goyal, AAG, Haryana.
G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Counsel for the petitioner submits that service upon respondents no. 4 to 6, 8 to 22, 24 to 29, 31 to 53, 55, 56, 58 to 67 was supposed to be effected by furnishing correct addresses as per order dated 28.04.2017 but the petitioner is not coming forth since he has now retired on 30.09.2012. Challenge in the present writ petition is to the gradation list of the Forest Guards as on 01.11.1966 and its consequential effect. From the above circumstances, it is apparent that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the case as he was superannuated. The private respondents would be adversely effected if any order is to be passed at their back and, therefore, in the absence of the assistance from the petitioner, the present petition cannot be proceeded ahead.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
