The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.17 dated 21.01.2019 registered under Sections 406, 498-A IPC at Police Station Women Cell, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.

By an order dated 14.02.2019 while issuing notice of motion, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed her to join investigation.

Petitioner herein is none other than the mother-in-law of the complainant.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from IO ASI Sukhdev Singh would submit that 54 dowry articles have been recovered from family members and custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required. 5.

The complainant who is present in Court submits that she has received a sum of `25,000/- in terms of earlier order. 6.

In view of the fact that most of the recoveries have been made and custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 14.02.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
