#$%&  This appeal under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 is directed against the award dated 31.07.1990 awarding compensation to the tune of Rs. 25,000/2 to the respondent2claimant Smt. Rajpati along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum on account of death of her son aged about 13 years.

The appeal has been pending in this Court since 1990 and thus 29 years have passed. There is nothing on record that any interim order at the time of entertaining the appeal was passed and thus there is no reason to believe that the award must not have been executed by now rendering this appeal infructuous. Even otherwise, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal awarding a sum of Rs.25,000/2 alongwith interest in case of death. Appeal accordingly stands dismissed.
