Seeking quashing of impugned order dated 18.04.2019 passed by the trial Court vide which the petitioner has been declared as a proclaimed person and proceedings under section 83 of Cr.P.C. have been initiated, the petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C..

Counsel for the UT-State submits that the petitioner in the present case has been acquitted.

Given above, as per the State's instructions as the accused in the main case already stands acquitted, there would be no justification to continue related proclamation proceedings qua the petitioner.

Consequently, the present petition is allowed and the impugned order dated 18.04.2019 is quashed and set aside. Liberty reserved to the petitioner to challenge the FIR, if any, registered pursuant to order dated 18.04.2019. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
