(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 29.12.2020, Annexure P-7, vide which genuine claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of TGT Punjabi has been rejected for not qualifying HTET despite the fact the same very condition has already been omitted vide notification dated 06.06.2012, Annexure P-3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to decide the pending legal notice, dated 16.11.2023, Annexure P-9, in a specified period.
