* * * * RAVI SHANKER JHA, C.J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing at length, prays for liberty to pursue the legal notice dated 22.10.2022 (Annexure P-18) with the respondent-authorities.

Learned senior panel counsel, appearing for the respondents, submits that they would consider and decide the petitioner's legal notice expeditiously in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the statement of learned senior panel counsel for the respondents, we do not find any reason to entertain the present writ petition which is accordingly disposed of with the aforesaid liberty. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter accept or reject the same in accordance with law.
