Petitioner has prayed for a mandamus to consider its request for grant of vacant route permit by invoking provisions of section 104 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

On the asking of court, Ms. Ishneet Kaur, AAG Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of official respondent(s). She submits that in case any application is pending and is maintainable and there is no impediment in the way of quasi-judicial authority, it shall decide the same at the earliest.
