(Oral) Learned State counsel has today filed reply by way of affidavit of Mr. Manpreet Singh Sudan, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Panchkula, wherein it is deposed that upon prima facie finding that the matter is beyond the jurisdiction of District Panchkula, a 'Cancellation Report' has been prepared and is likely to be presented shortly. In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to pursue the matter before the area Magistrate. Needless to mention, it shall be open to the petitioner to file a protest petition as well.
