*** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition was filed in the year 1996 for challenging the orders (Annexures P-12 to P-16) whereby requests of the petitioners for change of options regarding drawls of pay in the revised pay scale, had been rejected. Petition was admitted to be taken up in regular hearing vide order dated 06.02.1996.

It seems that by sheer effluxion of time and pendency of the writ petition for more than 26 years before this Court, either it has been rendered infructuous or even otherwise the petitioner seems to have lost interest in pursuing the same. Even otherwise, on a Court query, the learned State Counsel per his instructions from Sh. Krishan Kumar, Under Secretary to Govt. of Haryana, Secretariat Establishment, Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh submits that claim of the petitioners has been accepted during the pendency of the writ proceedings and nothing survives for adjudication. Learned counsel for the petitioners is not in a position to deny this fact.

Be that as it may, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file an appropriate application in case, any cause of action still survives.
