(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect life and liberty of the petitioner by providing him police protection as respondents No.4 to 7, who are also police officials, have connived with private respondents No.8 to 10 and have been harassing him and have taken forcible possession of his stone crusher situated at Pathankot on the basis of forged and fabricated documents. It is further submitted that respondents No.4 to 7 have been issuing threats to involve him in some criminal case under NDPS Act or in some Anti Terrorist Act and that although he had submitted a representation to respondent No.3Senior Superintendent of Police, District Pathankot but to no avail. ( 2 ) CRWP-2042-2021 (O&M) Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Pathankot to look into the matter and to get the representations 12.4.2019 and 22.10.2019, Annexures P-7 and P-8, respectively, examined, so that the same are disposed off in accordance with law expeditiously. A copy of this order alongwith representations 12.4.2019 and 22.10.2019, Annexures P-7 and P-8, respectively be sent to respondent No.3Senior Superintendent of Police, District Pathankot so as to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
