Prayer in the present Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ of Certiorari for quashing the impugned award dated 04.11.2019 (Annexure P-1) passed by Respondent No.1, whereby, Respondent No.2-workman has been held entitled for reinstatement with continuity in services and with 50% back wages and all other consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for respondent No.2 are ad idem that the matter has been amicably settled between the petitioner and respondent No.2 for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- to be paid by the petitioner to respondent No.2 in settlement of all his claims. 3.
