Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) This petition has been filed seeking transfer of petition filed by the respondent-wife under Section 125 Cr.P.C. for grant of maintenance in the Family Court at Panchkula to any other Court of competent jurisdiction at Patiala/ Chandigarh/ Mohali/ Ambala. Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that the Family Court at Panchkula has asked the petitioner-husband to settle the matter with the respondent-wife which is not agreeable to him. It is the apprehension that he would be forced to enter into settlement with the respondent-wife.

The apprehension expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is too far-fetched to form any basis for transfer of the petition. Even if the Family Court has asked the petitioner to try and settle the disputes with the respondent, there is nothing wrong about it. No exception, can be taken to such a request by the Family Court; rather, the Court is AVIN KUMAR 2023.03.22 09:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

In view thereof, there is no ground to entertain this petition. Dismissed.
